Succulent Saucy Chicken
RECIPE
1 chicken cut1 teaspoon fine red chillies ½ teaspoon lemon pepper 1 full tablespoon ginger garlic masalajuice of 1 lemon 1 tablespoon white vinegar ¼ cup oil 1 teaspoon Aromat (a South African Spice) 1 teaspoon chicken spice
Marinate chicken above spices for a few hours. Cook on low heat in its own juices, avoid adding water unless necessary Once chicken is cooked and tender add sauce and leave to simmer.
Sauce:3 tablespoon mayonnaise 3 tablespoon bushveld braai (bbq) sauce ..Nandos3 tablespoon bbq sauce 1 tablespoon Tomatoe puree 1 tablespoon tomato sauce, juice of ½ lemon salt to taste blob of butter
Boil all this together and add to chicken and leave to simmer. Thin slices of green pepper can be added to chicken when almost done gives a lovely flavour to chicken.
