Simple with variations
125 g soft butter or margarine¾ cup castor sugarBeat well till fluffy add creamyAdd 2 well beaten eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla essenceAdd to the aboveBeat well Add +- 1 & ½ cups sifted flour mixed with 2 teaspoon baking powderMix and then gradually add +- ½ to ¾ cup milkMix well with beaterPour in cup cake holders or make one cakeBake at 180* +- 25 minutes or moreWhen cool add icing or glaze of your choice
VariationsAdd crushed pecans. Coconut almonds etc Can colour tint the batter for rainbow or marble effectDo normal frosting etcMay use orange juice instead of milkFor cake batter as well as glazeI added some orange rind and essence in batterAnd glazed with icing sugar mixed with little milk or water few more drops of orange essence pour over the cake Either hot or coldSprinkled a bit of orange Rind over and 100's&1000's sweets
