INGREDIENTS
1 ½ cups plain flour ½ cup caster sugar 1 ½ teaspoon baking powder ½ teaspoon salt 125g softened butter 1 teaspoon vanilla essence 1 egg 1 cup milk
METHOD
*Sift flour,caster sugar ,baking powder and salt.*Add the rest of the ingredients and beat till thick and smooth *Preheat machine for 4-5 minutes Bake for 2 minutes or until golden brown Ensure donuts are not kept in machine for too long as they become dry Alternatively you can place mixture in a greased donut tray for 15 minutes at 180° Coat doughnuts in a cinnamon and sugar mixture whilst warm *Or melt chocolate with nestlè cream and a tablespoon spoon of oil*Dip doughnuts in chocolate and drizzle over 100s and 1000s or another layer or white chocolate
