300g penne pasta ~White sauce~2 tablespoon butter2 tablespoon flour1 cup milkSalt and pepper to taste ~Red Sauce~1 small onion chopped½ tablespoon garlic pasteOptional : 1 green or any colour pepper (chopped)2 tomatoes (boiled peeled and pureed)Salt to taste (don't put too much as there is already in the pasta and the white sauce)½ teaspoon oregano½ teaspoon dried basil (or use fresh ones chopped)1 ½ tablespoon ketchup Chilli powder to taste (or leave out)
- Boil the pasta in salted water and keep aside- Make the white sauce by melting the butter. Mixing the flour in then adding your milk and stirring till it becomes thick. Season off heat. Keep aside- In another pot, heat some butter and fry the onion- add the garlic and pepper and cook for a few minutes- add the pureed tomatoes and cook for 7-8 minutes- add the spices and ketchup mix well- mix in the white sauce and check the salt. - add in your pasta and mix in some grated cheese if you want.
