INGREDIENTS
Steak-500g topside steak (cut into strips)2 tablespoon Butter½ teaspoon salt½ teaspoon white pepper powder1 teaspoon ground green chillies1 teaspoon mustard powder1 tablespoon brown vinegar2 tablespoon Nando's garlic sauce2 tablespoon Heinz Worcestershire Sauce2 tablespoon BBQ sauce
Garnish:2 tablespoon butter1 large onion (cut in rings)1 green pepper (cut into rings)Grated gouda cheeseSliced cheese125ml Lancewood sour creamWoolworths pickled jalapenos (optional)Chicken Lickin' Soul Fire Sauce/ Tabasco sauce (optional)6 long hotdog rolls#cookwithmeruhana#mamataughtmewellrecipes
METHOD
Steak-1. Marinate steak in above ingredients and leave in fridge for 2 hours.2. Cook on stove till just done.3. Saute onion and peppers till softened.4. Cut rolls lengthwise, but not all the way through, leaving roll joint on one side. 5. Place on sliced cheese. Then top with steak.6. Top with onions and peppers, then grated cheese.7. Dollop on sour cream, drizzle some soul fire sauce and place a few jalapenos.8. Lastly close roll, place a skewer in to keep intact and serve.
INFO & TIPS
You could mix some jalapeno sauce into the sour cream instead of using sliced jalapenos.
