INGREDIENTS
5 hake fillets cut into half, washed and drained (add to this 1 teaspoon Dhana Jeeru (Cumin)(coriander/cumin), juice of 1 lemon, ½ teaspoon arad (Turmeric)(turmeric) 1 teaspoon Amina’s fish’ and prawn masala or ordinary fish masala, Sprinkle of salt and 1 teaspoon garlic paste) Set this aside
1 onion finely sliced 1 sprig curry leaves 2 teaspoon whole cumin4 grated tomatoes add the following into the tomatoes: 2 teaspoon garlic paste Juice of ½ a lemon 1 teaspoon red chilli paste 2 teaspoon Amina’s fish and prawn masala (or normal fish masala)2 teaspoon Dhana Jeeru (Cumin) (cumin/coriander mix)1 teaspoon arad (Turmeric) powder (turmeric)1 teaspoon chilli powder 1 teaspoon Salt2 table spoons tomato purée Chopped fresh greens
METHOD
1.) fry onions in oil with curry leaves and whole cumin until golden. 2.) add in the tomato mixture and let it fry on high for a few minutes. 3.) add in the fish and a little water. Close the lid, lower heat and let it cook until fish is cooked through and the water is dried out. 4.) top with greens and a sprinkle of salt Dhana Jeeru (Cumin)
