Chicken-500g chicken fillet (cubed),2 tablespoon butter,1 teaspoon salt,1 teaspoon rough red chillies,1 teaspoon dhana jeeroo powder,1 tablespoon garlic paste,2 tablespoon lemon juice,1 teaspoon ground green chillies,1 tub chunky cottage cheese.
Creamed Spinach-1 packet Mc'cains garden spinach1 onion sliced2 Tablespoon butter½ teaspoon salt½ teaspoon pepper1 cup milk1 cup fresh cream1 tablespoon flour
Pasta sauce-1 medium onion (sliced),2 tablespoon oil,3 large tomatoes (liquidized),½ teaspoon salt,½ teaspoon black pepper,1 teaspoon chilli powder,Pinch turmeric powder,½ teaspoon dhana jeeroo powder.
Pasta-500g pasta shells.1 teaspoon rough salt,Drizzle oil.
Garnishes-Mozzarella cheese (grated),Parmesan cheese,Dry sweet basil,Fresh basil leaves.
1. Make a wet tomato sauce by braising sliced onion in oil, adding liquidized tomatoes and spices. 2. Spoon ¾ of the sauce onto the bottom of an oven proof casserole dish. 3. Heat butter, saute garlic, add chillies, lemon and spices with chicken.4. Once water is cooked out, add cottage cheese.5. Spoon onto pasta sauce.6. Braise onion in butter till softened. Add spinach, salt, pepper and milk. Cook till milk has reduced.7. Then add fresh cream to spinach with flour and mix in. 8. Boil on low till cream has reduced and spinach is creamy.9. Boil pasta for 5min, till al-dente. Drain.10. Arrange shells next to each other in casserole dish ontop of pasta sauce and creamy chicken.11. Generously stuff creamed spinach into shells.12. Then drizzle on reserved pasta sauce and sprinkle on mozzarella.13. Sprinkle dry sweet basil. 14. Cover with foil and bake in preheated oven at 180 deg C till heated through.15. Remove foil. Arrange fresh basil leaves over cheese and serve hot.
