INGREDIENTS
Flaky croissants 3 cups flour 2 tablespoon butter 2 tablespoon sugar 1 sachet yeast 1 egg 1 teaspoon salt ½ cup lukewarm water ½ cup lukewarm milk 250g butter - cut into 4 equal parts
METHOD
Put dry ingredients in a mixing bowl. Rub in the butter. Mix egg water and milk. Make a soft dough. Divide into 5 parts. Roll each into a plate size roti. Grate butter on each roti and sprinkle mazeina. Pile one on top of the other. Now roll into a big roti. Fold as you would pastry dough. Refrigerate for 3 hours. Cut into 4 parts. Roll out cut into 8 triangles. Fill. Roll. Brush with egg. Bake.
