1 roll puff pastry1 beaten egg to eggwash Sesame seeds for sprinkling (opt) Filling 500g chicken fillet (cubed)1 small onion (diced)1 yellow pepper (diced)A handful of fresh chopped dhania (coriander) 1 teaspoon chilli powder 1 teaspoon dhania (coriander) powder ½ teaspoon turmeric ½ teaspoon smoked paprika Salt Pepper 2 tablespoon corn flour
Braise the onions in a few tablespoons of oil or ghee (Clarified butter).Add the chicken and brown. Add your spices and ginger and garlic.Cook for a few minutes then add the yellow pepper.Cover and cook for a few minutes then add 2 tablespoon corn flour, ¼ cup water and allow to thicken. This will make sure your filling is not dry.Add the dhania (coriander) to this mix. Cool and fill pies as desired. Eggwash the pies Bake at 220° for 15 minutes until golden brown.
