Put the butter and milk.. in a bowl and micro for 20 sec.mix and let cool..Beat sugar and eggs and vanilla for 4 minutes till light and fluffy ..add in the flour and baking powder in 2 batches slowly.. then a the milk and butter .. beat.till combined.. pour in your prepared cake pan and bake at 180C for about 30 minutes. Meanwhile make your topping..Melt butter and add sugar.. and let it caramel ..be careful and add in the milk.. once its a tan color. Take off stove and add your coconut.. mix well.Take your cake out after 30 minutes and put the topping and let bake for a further 10 minutes.. Enjoy.
