Basic Smartie Biscuits

INGREDIENTS

250g butter½ cup oil1 cup icing sugar3 tablespoon maziena½ cup rice flour (maziena/cornflour to replace if you dont have)+- 2 and ¾ cup flour

METHOD

Cream butter, sugar and oilAdd in the rest of the ingredients to make a soft doughPipe with a nozzle, roll into balls or make log and cut into slicesBake at 180°C for +- 15 minutes
For coffee biscuits.. dissolve coffee granules in little boiling water and add to dough
For decor drizzle chocolate, sprinkled with finely chopped and roasted pecans then drizzle white chocolate..
For nougat biscuits.. Chop and add in nougatRoll cut into circles.
For mint..Chop aero mint or peppermint crisp
For kids.Make a log, roll 100s and 1000's around dough, freeze a little while, slice and bake
