INGREDIENTS
4 slices brown bread or whole wheatLettuce shreads1 ripe tomotoeCucumbers 2 medium to soft avosCheeseButter Salt and pepper
METHOD
Spread all slices of bread with a mixed layer of cream cheese, mayo and carrot spread Put slice of cheese on bread, cucumberAdd tomato slices and lettuce shreds Sprinkle with salt, pepper seasoning.Cover tomato slices with other slice of cheese, then cover with other piece of bread.In the meantime, heat griddle or Tawas with butter and grill the cheese sandwiches.
Option 2Grilled cheese spreads 2 carrots, finely grated fineHandful finely chopped pecans1 Tablespoon grated onions ½ tub cream cheese, room temperature3 Tablespoon mayonnaise Seasonings salt and pepper oregano Mix and chill in refrigerator until required
Mayo sandwich and avo can be made without toasting the bread, just mix up the ingredients and spread on the bread and cut into triangles. I prefer the toasted bread to make any sandwich, so I have toasted in on a tawa.A sandwich maker can also be used.
Ideal serve at breakfast, the healthy way.
