INGREDIENTS
2 cups milk2 tablespoon butter½ cup sugar
2 eggs separated4 tablespoon cornflour4 tablespoon all purpose flour1 teaspoon vanilla ½ cup water
METHOD
Boil together on low, milk, butter and sugar
Beat the egg whites till stiff peaks form and keep aside
Whisk together the egg yolks, flours, vanilla and water.Once milk mixture is boiling, add the flour mixture and whisk on the stove top until the mixture thickens - remove from heat
Beat in egg whites and fill into cases
INFO & TIPS
I used ready made tart shells. I got 24 mini shells out with leftover mixture
I would recommend halving the recipe if using the mini shells
