INGREDIENTS
6 cored pears liquidized in a blender2 cups brown sugar2 cups sifted all-purpose flour1 teaspoon salt1 ½ teaspoons baking powder1 teaspoon ground nutmeg1 teaspoon ground cinnamon½ teaspoon ground cloves2 eggs⅔ cup oil1 cup chopped pecans (optional)
METHOD
Preheat oven to 170°c
Decore pears and blend with skin on until super smooth.
Slightly beat the eggs and combine them with the oil, chopped pecans and pear mixture.
Sift the flour, salt, baking soda, nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves. Whisk in to the pear mixture little at a time
Pour batter into the prepared (spray spray & cook and dust lightly with flour) bundt pan.
Bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes before removing form pan.
INFO & TIPS
If you insert a toothpick and its still sticky don't worry about it, its still cooked and will come together once cooled.
