1 kg chicken pieces
¼ cup oil ¼ cup ghee (Clarified butter)1 teaspoon cumin seeds 1 cardomom pods 2 bay leaves 2 cinnamon sticks a 2 onions finely chopped Curry leaves 2 green chillies slit
2 heaped teaspoon ginger and garlic paste 2 teaspoon red ginger and garlic masala (optional)I used @sujees_masala
1 level teaspoon tumeric powder 2 teaspoon kashmiri chillie powder2 teaspoon rustenburg chillie powder2 teaspoon crushed chillie1 teaspoon coriander powder 1 teaspoon cumin powder 1 teaspoon gurum masala1 teaspoon lemon pepper 2 teaspoon salt
3 grated tomatoes 2 tablespoon lemon juice1 tablespoon vinegar1 teaspoon sugar
½ cup yoghurt 1 /4 cup fresh cream
Carrots and green peppers
Coriander and mint leaves finely chopped
3 potatoes fried 2 ½ cups cooked basmati riceBoiled eggs
Method Add oil and ghee (Clarified butter) to a flat pot. Add whole spices and allow to sizzle. Add dry spices and ginger and garlic paste. Fry for a minute on low heat.
Add chicken and braise on high heat for 5 minutes. Add tomatoes, lemon juice, vinegar and sugar. Cook for 10 minutes. Add youghurt, fresh cream carrots and green peppers. Cook for 10 minutes.
Add fried potatoes,coriander and mint leaves. Mix well. Top with cooked rice. Sprinkle some fried onions, ghee (Clarified butter) and ½ cup water. Seal pot with foil. Place in preheated oven of 170 degrees for 35 minutes. Add boiled eggs just before serving. Serve with dhai and salads. Once tasted never wasted 😋Share as received ⭐⭐⭐
