Corn Chips:2 Cups Corn Meal1 Cups All Purpose Flour½ Teaspoons Salt ½ Teaspoons Black Pepper Powder¼ Teaspoons Turmeric2 Teaspoons Oil Sweet Chilli Seasoning:½ Tablespoons Red Chilli Powder¼ Teaspoons Salt¼ Teaspoons MSG ( Monosodium Glutamate)1 Teaspoons Onion Powder1 Teaspoons Garlic Powder½ Teaspoons Ginger Powder1 Tablespoons Icing Sugar
In a bowl add all the sweet chilli seasoning ingredients, mix well and set aside. In another bowl add all the corn chips ingredients and mix well to form a dough. Add water as required, knead to form a soft and smooth dough. Roll dough into a large round circle. Roll up like a swiss roll. Cut equal portions of dough. The size & amount is your choice. Roll out onto floured surface into thin round roti. Prick the rolled out dough using a fork. Brush the dough with olive oil and sprinkle with sweet chilli seasoning. Do this for both side of the dough. Cut into desired shape and size (preferably triangular). Corn chips are now ready for the air fryer.Place the corn chips to an air fryer and spread out evenly. Set the temperature to 180 degrees C and the time to 10 minutes. The times may vary so always check to prevent them from burning. Give the corn chips a toss in between.Once done, transfer the deliciously seasoned corn chips to a bowl and serve. Enjoy!
INFO & TIPS
If you don't have an air fryer, the corn chips can be deep fried in oil until done and golden brown. Remove, season and serve.
