2 Onions sliced4 Teaspoons crushed garlic800g Cubed lamb2 Teaspoons ginger powder2 Teaspoons somph (fennel seeds)2 Cinnamon sticks5 Elachi (cardomom) pods (cardomom)8 Black peppercorns3 Cloves1 Teaspoons salt½ Cup milk2 Potatoes cut into wedgesSmall handful of dhania (coriander) chopped
Soften the onions in a little oil. Add the garlic and braise. Add the mutton and all the spices. Brown the meat. Add the milk and continue cooking. Add water when necessary. When halfway cooked, added the potatoes. Cook till tender. Sprinkle dhania (coriander) over before serving. Eat with roti or naan.
