INGREDIENTS
1 ½ cups castor sugar
4 eggs
¼ cup cocoa
1 cup boiling water
¾ cup oil
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
2 cups cake flour
3 teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
Icing
2 Plain Cadbuy slabs
½ slab white cooking chocolate
1 small tin Nestle cream
250ml Meadowland cream
METHOD
Mix tog the cocoa, water, oil and essence and allow to
cool
Beat the sugar and eggs tog (add eggs one at a time)
Add the cocoa mixture and mix well
Sift all dry ingredients tog and add to mixture
Mix well
Bake @ 160 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes
Whipp 250ml Meadowland cream until stiff. Trim cake
on top and around the sides nice and thick.
Place in freezer until hard or leave overnight
Melt the chocolate and cream tog
Take cake out of freezer and pour chocolate over cake
(sides and top)
Allow to defrost and enjoy
INFO & TIPS
Cake can be made in one cake tin or 2 tins then
sandwiched together with caramel
Very expensive to make so I make it on special
occations
