1 cup Chana Dhal boiled till soft but it must still be GRAINYIn a Pot Heat 3 tablespoon OilWith 1 tuj (cinnamon stick) 2 Elachi (cardomom) 3 - 4Whole peppercorns 3 Curry leaves 2 Green ChilliLet the Onion Brown a bitAdd ½ Kg Chicken piecesAdd 1 teaspoon Garlic and 1 teaspoon Ginger Garlic pasteLet it braise for 10 minutesNow Add 1 teaspoon tumeric 1Tblsp Kashmiri Chilli Powder1 & ½ teaspoon dhania (coriander) Jeera MixCook further 5 minutes till masala is well coated on the chickenNow Add 1 Grated Tomato1 tablespoon Tomato PureeBraise wellAdd the boiled Drained ChanaDont let the curry dry out too much Adjust Salt and Chilli TasteCook till doneI Added 1 teaspoon Tomato Sauce (Optional) Garnish with Chopped Green dhania (coriander)Serving SuggestionEnjoy with Rotis or Naan RotisAnd Achar
