INGREDIENTS
1kg rump steak cubed (I cut mine into larger square pieces)1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste1/2 Cup yoghurt1 tablespoon lemon juice 2 tablespoon tomato puree
1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)1 teaspoon turmeric (I used 1/2t)1 teaspoon crushed red chillies 3/4 teaspoon black pepper1 teaspoon tandoori spice3/4 teaspoon garam masala2 teaspoon fine dhana1/2 teaspoon sugar Handful fried onions, crushed
60g butter 3/3 Cup fresh cream*¹
METHOD
Marinate steak in above ingredientsHeat butter in a pot and cook steak until tenderAdd fresh cream and simmer for about 10mins until sauce thickens
INFO & TIPS
*¹ omitted fresh cream as I found it saucy and thick enough
Serve with roti or naan or as I did as a side to khuri kitchri
