INGREDIENTS
1 chicken cut washed and drained well16 whole dry red chillies4-8 cloves garlic½ cup vinegarJuice of 1 lemon1 teaspoon fine dhana1 teaspoon whole Peppercorns1 tablespoon salt or to tasteLiquidise the above, add water if necessary
METHOD
Heat pot with 2 Elachi (cardomom) pods and 1 cinnamon stickAdd chicken together with liquidised mixtureand half cup water Cook on medium heat until doneOnce chicken is cooked add another half cup water simmer for about a minute or twoTrasfer cooked chicken to a pyrex dish placeblobs of butter on each piece of chicken Place in the oven an grill for 15mins and chicken has turned red on the top
Serve with puri and salad, spice rice or chips Optiona: add steamed potatoesbefore putting in the oven
