Boil 3Β½ cups rice Β½ way set aside. Fry 6 potatoes ΒΌed set aside.Marinate 1Β½ kg chicken pieces with:Salt2 teaspoon dhana jeeroo 1 tablespoon crushed chillies 1 tablespoon chilli powder 1 teaspoon arad (Turmeric)Juice of 2 lemons π Β½ tin Tomato π
puree Β½ cup @mrsP's tandoori masala (wet)2 teaspoon dry tandoori spice1 teaspoon Shaan tandoori spiceΒ½ cup thick yoghurt or ΒΎ cup sour milk 3 slit chillies 2 teaspoon @purespice_sa red masala 2 teaspoon @purespice_sa ginger garlic Saffron essence
Braise 2 chopped or sliced onions π° in ghee (Clarified butter) with Taj Elachi (cardomom) cloves peppercorns slit chillies whole jeeru (cumin). Add in marinated chicken Cook uncovered for 15 - 20 minutes. Stirring to prevent scorching. Add in Β½ cup fresh cream. Simmer till thick.Cool Β½way b4 adding potatoes chopped dhania (coriander) and top with rice.Sprinkle ΒΌ cup water and Β½ cup fried onions π° and few dollops of ghee (Clarified butter)Seal pot with foil.Heat on stove 5 minutes Steam in oven for 50 minutes.Serve with dahy and salad π₯
