INGREDIENTS
BraiseFew tablespoons oil2 red chillies, sliced1-2 small cloves garlic, minced
500g chicken fillet, cubed chunky2 medium carrots, cut in batonsHandful of brown mushrooms, halved4 big potatoes, peeled and cubed chunky
Spices:1 teaspoon crushed garlic powder 2 teaspoons black peppercorns, pounded coarsely 2 teaspoons salt1 teaspoon mustard seeds, pounded coarsely 1 teaspoon mixed herbs Sprinkle of brown sugar
Add LastDash of white vinegar 2 tablespoons Minnies Aged Chilli sauce, or to tasteFew tablespoons of milk- just to make it moistA blob of butter
Chopped greens, for garnishing
METHOD
Heat up the oil in a large pot. Add in the garlic and chillies.Add in the chicken, veggies and the spice mix. Allow to cook on medium heat for ten minutes.Reduce heat to low, add a little water and leave to cook until potatoes are soft.Finally add the last few ingredients and simmer for 15 minutes.Garnish with some lovely chopped spring onion/coriander and serve hot with parathas/rotis/rolls.
