INGREDIENTS
2 large eggs½ cup sugar½ teaspoon vanilla essence1 cup yoghurt2 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter)2 cups self raising flourCoating:½ cup castor sugar½ teaspoon cinnamon powder
METHOD
Beat eggs and sugar until fluffy.Add vanilla essence, yoghurt and ghee (Clarified butter), beat.Lastly add self raising flour 1 cup at a time and beat to make a thick batter.Drop spoonfuls into medium hot oil.Make cinnamon sugar and lightly roll warm donuts inside.Enjoy.
INFO & TIPS
I use wet fingers to drop a tblsp amount of batter into the oil (like bhajias).
Donuts are best eaten the same day.
