INGREDIENTS
1 chicken, cut in pieces, cleaned
Marinate for an hour with:½ teaspoon arad (Turmeric)3 teaspoons chilli powder1 level teaspoon gharam masala2 teaspoons zesty lemon spice (Robertsons)1 teaspoon salt2 tablespoons ground almondsPinch ground Elachi (cardomom)Pinch saffron 1 teaspoon garlic powder½ teaspoon ginger powder1 teaspoon green masala3 tablespoons mayonnaise½ cup All-Gold tomato sauce1 tablespoon white vinegar
To cook: butter and oilServing options: potato wedges or roast veggies, rolls or puri, salad.
METHOD
Place chicken in a pyrex Dot with butter, drizzle oil. Cover with foil and bake at 180°c for 45 minutes .Open up- if dried out, drizzle a few teaspoons water and grill for 10 minutes until slightly charred.Garnish with chives or parsley.
INFO & TIPS
Adjust temperature and time to suit your oven.
Recipe as written was hot 🔥 so you can substitute some of the chilli powder with Kashmiri chilli powder (milder) or paprika, if desired.
