RECIPE
1 chicken cut and washed
In pot heat 2 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter)Add 2 small cinnamon sticks2 Elachi (cardomom) pods4 peppercorns1 teaspoon Jeeroo
Let it braise for a minute Then add in 1 sachet tomato paste2 tablespoon lemon juice 3 tablespoons red masala
Once it starts sizzling add in chicken
Then add1 teaspoon Crushed Dhana1 teaspoon Jeeroo 1 teaspoon Kashmiri chillies½ teaspoon arad (Turmeric)Salt to taste½ teaspoon Elachi (cardomom) powderPinch of saffronMix well.Cook till done adding water as needed for cooking.
Garnish with chopped fresh coriander leaves and almond flakes.
Serve with veg and roti.
INFO & TIPS
🥣Take a pinch of saffron in a small bowl and add an ice cube. Allow to melt. In this way you get the most Flavour out of it
