INGREDIENTS
🍰300g cake flour 🍰¼ teaspoon. Salt 🍰1½ teaspoon. Baking powder 🍰180g butter 🍰300g sugar 🍰2 eggs 🍰1 teaspoon. Vanilla 🍰180g buttermilk
Pink Icing 🍰150g icing sugar 🍰1 tablespoon. Honey or caramel syrup 🍰¼ teaspoon. Vanilla 🍰±1 tablespoon. Water (add water as needed)🍰drop red or pink color 🍰100's & 1000's sprinkles
METHOD
In a bowl add flour, salt, and baking powder, and mix well, Set aside
Beat the butter until soft, now add in the sugar and beat for 3 to 5 minutes until light and creamy.Add in 1 egg at a time beating well after each addition and add in the vanilla.
Add the flour in 2 batches, add the first half, and mix well. Now add the milk and mix well, now add the remaining flour and mix well.
Add the batter to a preheated 8-inch tray (grease the tray and dust with the flour) bake in a preheated oven @170c for 22 to 24 minutes.
Once baked let the cake cool completely.
Icing In a bowl add icing sugar, honey, and vanilla.Add in the water a little at a time mixing well after each addition. The mixture should be thick but spreadable. Add a drop of food coloring and mix well
Now pour the icing on top and spread it evenly, no sprinkles on top with 100's & 1000's Let the cake sit in the fridge for an hour so the icing can set.
