INGREDIENTS
Cake layer 2 cups flour 1& ¾ cup sugar ½ cup cocoa powder 2 teaspoon Bicarb of soda 1 teaspoon baking powder Pinch salt 1 cup yogurt ½ cup oil2 xl Eggs1 teaspoon vanilla essence 1 cup hot coffee (3 teaspoon coffee) Chocolate frosting /ganache 400g Plain Chocolate 80g White chocolate
METHOD
Preheat oven to 170Line a large rectangular pan with baking paper.
Sift all the dry ingredients into a bowl. In a separate bowl Whisk together the eggs, oil, yogurt and vanilla. Slowly add to the dry ingredients. Whisk in the coffee slowly to combine. Pour batter into the pan and bake for 18-20 minutes. Allow to cool. Remove baking paper and cut in half. Spread one side with chocolate frosting or ganache and top with the other. Freeze for an hour then slice into even logs. Place into a container and freeze overnight. Melt chocolate add mix in 2 teaspoon oil. Coat the logs in chocolate.
Drizzle white chocolate on the top.
INFO & TIPS
I use a fork to stand the cake on and use a Tblsp to coat over a chocolate bowl.
