INGREDIENTS
1 cup oats
1 cup castor sugar
1 cup flour
¾ cup coconut
125g butter
1 tablespoon golden syrup
1 teaspoon bicarb
1 tablespoon boiling water (more if needed)
METHOD
combine 1st 4 ingredients.Heat butter and golden
syrup till butter melts on low heat. Mix bicarb and water
and mix in. use a little more boiling water to make into
a dough shape and bake 180C.
INFO & TIPS
similar to crunchies. Instead of castor sugar i use
brown sugar as well which makes it crunchier
