100 g NESTLÉ Cooking Chocolate,
chopped
3 egg whites
¾ cup caster sugar
1 teaspoon cornflour
¾ cup chopped toasted hazelnuts
100 g NESTLÉ Cooking Chocolate, extra,
melted to swirl
How to make
1. Preheat oven to 150°C. Line a
baking tray.
2. Melt NESTLÉ Cooking Chocolate
according to packet directions. Set
aside to cool.
3. Beat egg whites until firm peaks
form. Gradually beat in sugar (this
should take 7-8 minutes).
4. Gently fold in cornflour, ½ cup
of the hazelnuts and exrta melted
NESTLÉ Cooking Chocolate to create a
swirl effect. Place spoonfuls of
mixture on lined tray.
5. Place a teaspoon of extra
melted NESTLÉ Cooking Chocolate on top
of each meringue and swirl around
using a skewer. Sprinkle meringues
with remaining chopped hazelnuts.
6. Bake for 30 minutes. Turn off oven
and leave to cool before removing.
Store in an airtight container (not in
the fridge).
