INGREDIENTS
Soak 2 cups chana dhall (lentils) with ¼ teaspoon bicarb overnight
Drain then add to it
¼ cup sourmilk
1 tablespoon mayonaise
Crushed green chillies
1 teaspoon white pepper
2 teaspoon dhana Jeeru (Cumin)
½ teaspoon ginger garlic
1 teaspoon crushed red chillies
2 ground tomatoes
METHOD
Braise one chopped onion with slit green chillies,jeera,¼ cubed green pepper and ½ cinnamon stick
Add dhall (lentils) to lightly browned onion and mix well..halfway through cooking add 3 tablespoon coconut milk or cream..cook till tender.add ½ teaspoon garam masala,and garnish with greens..serve with roti or puri
