Braise onion in oil with cardamom and cinnamon stick while braising add meat and let become nice and brown..add little water each tym start touching..then it browns nicely..add dry red chillies too and
the garlic and ginger and salt..keep addin little water til meat is cooked..wen meat half dne add tomatoes..let cook little then add potatoes.cook til dne and u cn add sugar lastly thn let simmer if u dnt want sugar leave it out..
