use a sponge cake recipe of your choice or 250g marg 1 ¾ cups sugar 4 eggs 1 teaspoon strawberry essence / vanilla essence 4 teaspoon baking powder 3 cups flour 2 cups milk
Topping : Whip 250ml fresh cream ½ cup icing sugar 1 slab milky bar Strawberries Strawberry jam optional
Preheat oven to 180 degrees in a mixture beat together Marg and sugar until color changes . Gradually add the eggs followed by the strawberry essence and baking powder , add the flour little at the time alternating with milk . In a round grease the pan add batter you might be able to make 2 with this recipe . Only half fill the pan . Bake for 15 to 20 minutes
Topping Whip cream until sift add icing sugar and beat . Melt the milky bar and fold into the cream mix . Slice strawberries .
Assemble : When cake is completely cooled cut in centre ( optional ) smear the strawberry jam in the middle If not add the cream in middle . Now put the top section back add the fresh cream mixture and let in run down . Place strawberries in the middle.
