3 ½ cups flour
1 teaspoon yeast
¼ cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 ¾ cups Luke warm water
ZA'atar about 3 tablespoon per 6 breads
Olives sliced 6 tablespoon
Cottage cheese chunks or feta
Preheat oven to 180degrees
add all the dry ingredients together with your hand for 30 seconds , add olive . Add lukewarm water to flour mix and knead the dough ,form a soft dough , make a ball out of it .pat some olive oil on top , wrap the container and store in a warm dark place for 1 to 2 hours , when it is double its size remove from container using your floured fingertips . Add flour on the surface which you will be rolling on , make small balls . Roll out into circles .
Add the ZA'atar into the olive oil and mix .
Now on the rolled out bread spread the ZA'atar olive mix thin layer , put olives and cottage cheese , now it's ready to bake .
Bake only for 10-15 minutes .
Optional : u can grate mozzarella cheese ontop .
INFO / TIPS / CREDITS
If you do it have ZA'atar use dry thyme and sesame seeds .
This bread can also be served with kebabs or botis just omit the cottage cheese and olives .
Excellent afternoon light snack .
