INGREDIENTS
1 tablespoon honey
1 ½ tablespoon yeast
1 ½ cups warm water
1 ½ teaspoon salt
3 ½ cups or more of flour
METHOD
1.Combine water, honey, salt and yeast in a bowl.
2. Set aside for 5-10 minutes until foamy on top.
3. Mix in enough flour so that dough is no longer sticky and Knead till smooth. Form into a loaf and place on greased tray.
4. Cover with a towel and allow to rise for 10-15 minutes in a warm place. preheat the oven to 200°c.
5. Cut slits on the top, brush with milk or dust with flour and bake for 15-20 minutes.
Also lovely with garlic powder added to dough and sprinkled with herb of choice such as thyme or oregano and blobs of butter placed over before baking.
