INGREDIENTS
Left over steak or
½ kg steak small cubes
1 teaspoon garlic
1 teaspoon red chilli paste
1 teaspoon BBQ spice
1 teaspoon portueguese spice
Salt
Dhana powder
Or simply use the AMAANS porta chicken marinade
Fry :
Vienna
Polony
Chips
Cheese
Sauce :
2 tablespoon tomato sauce
2 tablespoon mayo
2 tablespoon sweet chilli sauce
2 teaspoon peri peri sauce
Dough :
2 cups flour
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon yeast
¼ cup oil
Warm water
METHOD
Cook the steak until tender
Fry all the Viennas , Polony and chips , season with salt , vinegar and masala.
Mix all the sauces together
Dough :
Add all the dry ingredients
Add oil and warm water
Form a soft dough .
Do not allow it to rise ,
Assemble
Roll dough out into a huge rectangle on a floured surface .
Place this rolled out dough on a big baking tray .
Place some steak , all the fried goodies . Top this up with sauce and cheese .
Take both sides of the dough and bring to the top to close it up .
Brush some egg on the top. Sprinkle herbs and bake for 10 to 15 minutes
INFO & TIPS
You have to place the dough on the tray before adding the filling . Otherwise it becomes impossible to lift without breaking to place on tray
