INGREDIENTS
3 cups flour
Pinch of salt
5 tablespoon icing sugar
1 ½ teaspoon yeast
1 egg,beaten
2 oz. butter
Cold milk and boiling water,mixed till lukewarm
METHOD
Use lukewarm milk-water mixture to tie dough till dough is soft. Let dough rise for about 2 hrs, then roll out till about 2cm thick. Use doughnut cutter to cut doughnut shapes, leave for few minutes,then lift out doughnuts and place on a cloth and cover with a cloth. Let doughnuts rise for about 15 minutes then fry in hot oil till golden-brown. Roll while hot in castor sugar and cinnamon mixed,or top with melted chocolate and sprinkle choc on top. Enjoy!!!
