RECIPE
Braise in ½ cup oil
1 tablespoon mustard seeds
1 tblps sesame seeds
Few strands of curry leaves
3 slit green chillies
Once braised add:
1 tin chick peas
Red chillie powder to taste
Pinch of haldi
1 teaspoon dhana Jeeru (Cumin)
1 teaspoon crushed red chilles
Salt to taste
Add ¼ cup tomato puree and 1 sachet tomato paste,add little water and cook till masala's well blender..
Boil or fry 2 cubed potatoes in salt water till tender,season with salt and pepper and parlsey..
In a bowl or individual bowls,place chana at the bottom,top with potatoes (I mixed potatoes in)and drizzle with aamli or red chutney..sprinkle with chopped greens,,cover with crushed pur..
