RECIPE
BALTI GHOS
1 kg lamb meat
1 teaspoon ginger garlic
2 teaspoon freshly ground red chillies
1 teaspoon dhana Jeeru (Cumin) powder
2 teaspoon crushed Jeeru (Cumin)
½ teaspoon white pepper
3 tablespoon lemon juice
2 sticks cinnamon
3 pods cardamon
Handful whole peppercorns
1 ¼ teaspoon salt
One third cup yoghurt
One third cup sour milk
Marinate lamb in above for a few hours
3 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter)
1 large grated onion
Heat ghee (Clarified butter) and fry onion until brown..add meat and water and cook on low until meat is tender
YOGHURT DIP
½ cup plain yoghurt
¼ teaspoon white pepper
4 tablespoon chopped dhania (coriander) leaves
2 tablespoon chopped mint leaves (optional)
½ small red onion chopped (optional)
Mix yoghurt and pepper.spread ontop of meat or place in middle..
