½ kg beef/steak mince 1 tablespoon garlic 1 teaspoon ginger ground green chili 1 tablespoon robertson bbq spice 1 tablespoon robertson chicken spice sprinkle of Aromat (a South African Spice) 1 teaspoon dhana powder 1 teaspoon jeera powder ¼ teaspoon haldi good handful chopped dhania (coriander) handful cut garlic chives 1 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter) 1 finely chopped onion ( squeezed out the water ) note: add salt after the spices because robertson spices are salty for cooking : blob butter oil ½ freshly squeezed lemon sauce :2 tablespoon mayo 2 tablespoon nando garlic peri blob butter squeezed lemon little water
Marinade the mince with all the above at least few hours or over night . to cook :make balls or oval shapes or put on a skewer place in a pot or pan . Add ½ cup water ans steam on meduim heat with the lid on until water almost dried out . Add the blob of butter as well as oil and lemon and allow this to brown and cook on low . Serve immediately . Sauce :Add all the ingredients in a bowl and heat up in the microwave until it simmers. p.s you can use whatever sauce you like .
