250g butter 1 ½ cup sugar 3 cups flour 4 eggs 2 teaspoon vanilla ½ cup cocoa powder 2 teaspoon baking powder 1 cup milk Place all ingredients into a stand mix, Beat every together for 3 - 4 minutes. Pour into well greased 20cm round tin Bake for 30 minutes on 180 deg or until a skewer inserted comes out clean. Remove from tin and place on a wire rack to cool. In the meantime prepare your ganache
Ganache: 200g dairy milk chocolate ½ fresh cream Heat cream and throw over chocolate stir until chocolate has melted. Allow to cool before throw over cake.
Beat ½ cup fresh cream stiff, sandwich the 2 cakes. (You may cover the cake with cream before throwing ganache I didn't) when the ganache is cooled and nice consistency, throw over cooled cake decorate with Pecan Nuts or whole nut
