1 ½ cups flour 1 ½ ts baking powder ½ teaspoon salt 80g butter soften ¾ cup milk / half water and half milk
Filling : marinade ½ kilo chicken fillet ( approx 3 pieces fillet ) small cubes 1 teaspoon red chili paste 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste ¼ squeezed lemon 1 teaspoon dhana powder 1 teaspoon jeera powder pinch haldi 1 tablespoon gorimas bbq spice 2 tablespoon tomato sauce 2 tablespoon mayo 2 tablespoon prego sauce / peri sauce
1 onion finely chopped
white sauce:2 tablespoon butter 1 full tablespoon flour milk as needed
2 potatoes cut round slices ( fry it ) add salt , vineger and chili powder . set aside .
Dough : In a food processor add dry ingredients add butter and on the machine ,, should be like crumb like texture, now start adding the milk and make a soft dough ( not sticky ) add more milk if necessary ( I did not add any liquids) . If you are not going to use immediately cover in cling and place in fridge .
Filling :Braise onion with butter until translucent add the marinaded chicken ( if you do not marinade chicken its fine ) just add everything whilst cooking . Cook until completely done.
White sauce : In a small pot add butter allow it to melt , lower heat add the flour and braise it slightly , now start adding milk and whisk at the same time to avoid lumps , add some salt and pepper . Should be runny .
Pre Heat oven to 180 degrees.Take the dough and cut into half . use the 1 half and roll it out 23cm by 23cm and place in a 20cm x 20cm oven try or dish . place the chicken filling top white white sauce and fried potatoes . Using the other half of the dough roll out cut into strips and place on top . Brush with eggs garnish with sesame seeds or herbs and bake for 20 to 30 minutes or util done . Remove from oven and cover with damp cloth and serve

You can use the same recipe for steak filling as well .
