RECIPE
1 kg chicken wings with skin on½ cup self raising flourPinch saltPinch pepperOil for frying
Sauce-¼ cup soy sauce ¼ cup water 1 tablespoon maizena (corn flour)4 tablespoon honey 2 tablespoon vinegar ¼ cup crushed pineapple2 tablespoon pineapple juice1 teaspoon red chilli paste1 teaspoon ground garlic paste½ teaspoon ginger paste2 tablespoon Bbq sauce1 teaspoon chilli powder1 teaspoon Jeeru (Cumin) powder½ teaspoon salt½ crushed black pepper
Method:Sauce-Heat all ingredients on medium heat, bring to a boil and thicken.
Wings-1. Mix salt and pepper in flour. 2. Heat oil to med-high heat. 3. Dip wings in flour and fry wings till crispy. The wings do not have to be fully cooked through. 4. Place in an oven proof dish. 5. Pour sauce over and grill wings till slightly charred. May sprinkle sesame seeds over before serving.
