INGREDIENTS
1 and half cups Flour
2 teaspoon baking powder
Half teaspoon salt
1 cup plain yogurt
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
2 tspns Orange rind
Half teaspoon vanilla essence
Half cup oil
For Glaze
⅓ cup orange juice
⅓ cup of sugar
METHOD
Preheat oven to 180℃
Sift baking powder, flour and salt together
In a sperate bowl whisk yogurt, sugar, eggs, orange rind and vanilla essence together
Slowly whisk in dry ingredients
Once well mixed fold in half cup of oil
Bake at 180 ℃ for 1 hour
In the meanwhile prepare the glaze
Cook the sugar and orange juice until sugar is devolved and liquid is clear and set aside
Once cake is baked allow to cool in the pan for 10mins and then carefully take it out of the baking pan and set on a plate and pour glaze over while cake is still warm
