RECIPE
Chana dhall (lentils)
1 ½ cup Chana dhall (lentils) wash and put to boil (when u break it, it should be soft then it’s ready, but it should still have its shape)
¼ cup oil dhall (lentils) wash and boil till soft so that u can strain
1 onion
Braise with oil till pink then add in your masalas with tomatos and braise
1 tablespoon ginger garlic
2 ½ tablespoon dhana jeeru (cumin)
½ tablespoon aradh
¾ tablespoon chilli powder
1 ½ tablespoon salt
3 tomatoes (liquidised)
When the chutney is cooked add both the dhalls and cook. Cook till a little thick
Make a vagaar with
Green chillies
Garlic (cut into small pieces)
jeeru (cumin)
ghee (Clarified butter)
And throw into the dhall (lentils) and garnish with dhania (coriander)
