Tutti frutti vanilla custard cake.
1 cup of plain flour
⅔ cup of sugar
½ teaspoon of baking powder
½ teaspoon of baking soda
2-3 teaspoon custard powder
½ cup of buttermilk
¼ cup of butter, melted
½ teaspoon of vanilla
⅓ cup of tutti frutti
A pinch of salt
Set oven to 180.C for pre-heating.
whisk together the flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, baking soda and custard powder.
To this, add the egg, vanilla, buttermilk, and butter.
Mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients.
mix half amount of tutti frutty in cake better.
Sprinkle the other half tutti frutti on top evenly.
Pour the batter in the loaf pan.
Tap the loaf tin on counter few times and put it in the oven.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top turns golden brown and a skewer inserted into the cake comes out clean.
Let the cake cool completely before slicing and serving.
