+-3-3 1⁄2 cups Shelled Prawns
1/4lb (125g) butter
3 Onions (chopped)
3 Green Peppers (chopped)
Ground Green Chillies to taste
1 teaspoon Ground Garlic
Salt to taste
3 tablespoon milk powder (Klim/Nespray)
+-3 tablespoon maizena (corn flour)
Give the prawns 1 quick boil and set aside.
Sauté onions for a few minutes than add green peppers with salt, turmeric, garlic and green chillies. Add prawns and braise for a few minutes.
Mix the milk powder and maizena (corn flour) and add to the prawn mixture allow to cook until it becomes thick and saucy, allow to cool and fill spring rolls, mixture can be used for filling half moons too.
Dip spring rolls in a thin paste of flour and water and roll in breadcrumbs, it is now freezer suitable, fry from frozen until golden.
