INGREDIENTS

1 onion Slice Heat oil and ghee (Clarified butter) and place few cinnamon sticks 3 ealchies 2 star aniseed Little saumph Into oil once aromas is released add the onion and let it fry till golden brownAdd masala Garam masala Ginger garlic dhania (coriander)/jeera powderTurmeric powder 2 bay leaves 3 sprigs curry leaves Let it braise and add 4 sliced carrots Cabbage Gahdra beans Green beans Peas Potatoes
Mix well and let it braise for few minutes Then
Add ½ cup Maas or yoghurt And salt to taste and a little Add your pre soaked rice I use 3 cups Pre soaked Masoor (Back lentils) dhall (lentils) .. I used ½ cup Add little water Cook on low heat until cooked Add dhania (coriander)
I served it with brinjal dhall (lentils) curry and salad
