3 cups water
1 teaspoon falooda powder
6 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon rose water
3-4 tablespoon rose syrup
1⁄4 teaspoon Elachi (cardomom) powder
Put water to boil on medium heat. Mix the falooda powder with a little water and add to the boiling water. Add the sugar and leave to boil for about 10 minutues.
Then add in your rose water, rose syrup and Elachi (cardomom) powder.
Pour into a Pyrex and refrigerate.
Soak sabja seeds(also called basil or tukmaria seeds)in some water and leave it to swell for about an hour.
Crush vermicelli into small pieces and put to boil till soft and strain. Leave to cool.
2 tablespoon rose water
3 tablespoon rose syrup
1⁄4 teaspoon Elachi (cardomom) powder (a little under)
3 tablespoon sugar
Vanilla ice cream
The secret is to add extra ice cream.
Add everything together in a blender and blitz.
Strain your seeds and grate your water falooda.
Add your vermicelli, seeds and falooda in a cup. Pour the milkshake over. Add one scoop ice cream on top and serve.
