Boil macaroni. Season with salt and pepper and place in Pyrex.
Make a white sauce:
Melt 2 tablespoon butter with 2 tablespoon flour. Add about a cup of milk and half cup cream. Whisk continuously till it begins to thicken slightly. Then remove from heat and add salt, pepper, quarter teaspoon green chilli paste, quarter teaspoon crushed garlic and a sprinkle of Aromat (a South African Spice). Then mix in a cup of grated cheese and pour over the macaroni. Grate cheese on top and cover with foil. Bake in oven till nicely heated.
